Golfers in the Hampshire area who are interested in playing Royal Winchester Golf Club and supporting a good cause are being invited to enter teams in a special charity golf day being held at the club on Wednesday, May 16.
Estate agents Austin & Wyatt Countrywide are sponsoring the day, which begins at 8am with coffee and bacon rolls served before a two-tee start at 9am. After 18 holes, guests will enjoy a lunch followed by prize giving.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Winchester branch of Home-Start, a registered charity which provides support, friendship and practical help to young families experiencing a wide range of difficulties.
