European Tour stars Lee Westwood, Andy Sullivan and Brandon Stone have all signed new contracts to continue playing Ping golf equipment.
As part of the agreements, all three players will wear Ping-branded hats, use Ping staff bags and play a minimum of 11 Ping clubs, including a Ping driver and putter.
Having won 42 times since turning pro in 1993, Westwood’s most recent win came at the Indonesian Masters in April last year. As one of Europe’s most decorated golfers of all time, Lee has garnered a reputation as an exceptional ball striker, with his consistent play earning him a spot on nine consecutive European Ryder Cup teams from 1997 to 2014.
Also penning a new multi-year deal is three-time European Tour winner Andy Sullivan, who enjoyed a breakout season in 2015, with victories at the South African Open, the Joburg Open and the Portugal Masters. Currently ranked 36th in the world, Sullivan has quickly established himself as one of the brightest talents in the game and has his sights set on making his Ryder Cup debut at Hazeltine, as well as competing at Augusta in the Masters for the first time.
Also extending his relationship with the manufacturer is 22-year-old South African Brandon Stone, who earned full main European Tour playing privileges by virtue of finishing inside the top-15 of the Challenge Tour’s 2015 Road to Oman and subsequently claimed his maiden European Tour victory in only the fourth event of the 2016 season with a two shot win at the South African Open earlier this month. The victory was the young South African’s second triumph in as many months, with his Sunshine Tour win at the Lion of Africa Cape Town Open in November last year – the first of his professional career.
