German fashion brand Golfino has signed up five promising young players to join its team of staff ambassadors on tour in 2018.
The company signed talented South African Brandon Stone to a three-year clothing deal in November, while further contracts have been agreed with Luca Cianchetti, Tomás Bessa, Raphael Marguery and Emily Collins.
Stone has already competed in two tournaments wearing Golfino and will take part in a comprehensive European and Sunshine Tour schedule in 2018. The 24 year old has three professional wins to his name and will stand at the head of the brand’s new team of young talent.
Italy’s Luca Cianchetti, who has signed an initial one-year deal, turned professional in July last year after a successful amateur career. Now aged 22, he was ranked No.2 in Europe after winning the European Amateur Championship 2016 and finishing runner-up in 2017. He played in the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale last summer and finished eighth in the Porsche European Open on his debut on the European Tour in the same month.
Tomás Bessa will also be stepping out in Golfino golf wear in 2018. The Miramar-based player, who took part in Golfino’s Autumn/Winter 18/19 photo shoot, is considered one of the most exciting talents to emerge from Portugal in recent years. He made his professional debut at the European Tour’s Portugal Masters in September.
Both Emily Collins, a University of Oklahoma graduate who will play on the Symetra Tour in 2018, and Raphael Marguery, who won the Alcarcon Tournament on the Alps Tour in 2016, have been supported by Golfino in previous years.
