A blast from the past for golfers of a certain age, TearDrop has relaunched into the market with an all-new range of putters that feature some noticeable tweaks to the designs that first put the brand on the map.
The original TearDrop putters featured a very obviously curved Roll-Face, with the principal philosophy being it would help you hit a putt with top spin.
The new designs feature less obvious Roll-Face with friction grooves that aims to get the ball rolling faster and reduce skid and bounce.
The new range includes three models, TD-1, TD-5, and TD-7, all boasting an anti-glare black oxide finish.
The TD-1 is a classic blade putter with heel-toe weighting and a crank hosel, offering a moderate level of toe hang. Its design includes a back flange line and high definition leading edge, making alignment straightforward.
The TD-5, a modern interpretation of a small mallet, features multi-material construction using steel and aluminium, which boosts MOI for enhanced forgiveness. This face-balanced design is ideal for players who prefer minimal face rotation.
For maximum forgiveness, the TD-7 oversized mallet stands out with its winged design, multi-material construction and bold alignment cues.
Teardrop putters are priced at £239.99.
