Callaway launches all-new Big Bertha range

One of the most iconic brand names in golf equipment has been given a reboot with the launch of the all-new Big Bertha range of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons from Callaway Golf.

Updated from the super game improvement Big Bertha range launched in 2021, the 2023 models are designed to provide game-changing performance and make the game more fun for players of all abilities who want to launch the ball higher and play with more confidence every time they tee it up.

Big Bertha Driver
The new Big Bertha Driver boasts an ultra-low and forward centre of gravity for players who want to reduce their slice for straight distance and an easy launch. From the generous profile to the high-strength XL face, these drivers are built for more confidence and for players to find more fairways.
Featuring a triaxial carbon crown and lightweight components, the BB driver is designed from the ground up to be easy-to-swing, while added weight in the heel area will promote a draw. With a generously stretched profile and large, forgiving head shape inspires confidence and promotes incredible forgiveness, while the XL face offers a large sweet spot and uses A.I. technology to optimize speed and spin across the face.
An all-new lightweight Jailbreak system has been enhanced to deliver stability and incredibly fast ball speeds across the face.

Big Bertha Fairway Woods
Like the driver, Big Bertha Fairway Woods are especially designed with an extremely forgiving shape for players who want to limit their slices and are looking for easy launch, fast ball speeds, and more accuracy.
Featuring a triaxial carbon crown and lightweight components, the oversized profile and shallow face design inspire confidence at address and deliver a high, easy launch, while progressively shorter shaft lengths promote consistent contact for improved launch and carry distance.
Jailbreak with Batwing Technology stabilizes the body, allowing the A.I. designed high-strength face to flex for power and incredibly fast ball speeds.
Loft options: 3 (16°), 5 (19°), Heavenwood (21°), 7 (22°), 9 (25°). Both the 3 and 5 wood are adjustable for loft and lie, enabling players to further dial in launch and spin.

Big Bertha Hybrids
The Big Bertha hybrids are designed for golfers who prefer hybrids over long irons and include the first ever 9-hybrid in the range, basically giving players the option of switching out all of their irons for easier hitting hybrids.
Boasting enhanced offset, so shots fly straight, they are easy to hit from an inviting Big Bertha shape and launch extremely high from precisely positioned internal tungsten weighting.
Lightweight components make them easy to swing for players with slower swing speeds, while an adjustable hosel provides the ability to optimize trajectory.
Jailbreak with Batwing Technology stabilizes the body, while allowing the face to flex for incredibly fast ball speeds, longer carry and more distance.
An OptiFit Hosel enables loft adjustable across the entire range +/- 2 degrees.

Big Bertha Irons
Designed for players who are seeking an iron that is easy to hit with outstanding ball speed, Big Bertha irons promote incredible forgiveness in a generous, confidence-inspiring shape. Using cutting edge A.I. technology and premium performance materials such as tungsten, these irons are engineered to deliver easy distance and powerful iron shots, even on off-centre hits.
Precision tungsten is used in two ways to improve launch and control. Up to 11g of external tungsten is positioned to promote outstanding forgiveness, while up to 43g of internal tungsten is positioned to create high-launch and easy-to-control short iron shots.
Each head throughout the set features a unique A.I. pattern to optimize speed and spin across the face are designed with thicker toplines, wider soles, enhanced offset, and longer blade lengths to create forgiveness and a straight ball flight.
Boasting a durable black smoke finish, the Big Bertha ‘23 irons utilize lightweight components to provide an easy-to-swing package, while Callaway’s patented Urethane Microspheres technology produces outstanding feel while maintaining exceptional ball speeds.
