NewCo would also gain ownership of LIV and the commercial and business rights associated with the DP World Tour as part of this arrangement.

The proposed merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf is potentially in danger of collapsing, as several prominent sports players are expected to join the controversial breakaway circuit.
The possibility of the merger falling apart may reach a critical point during LIV’s qualifying event for 2024, which coincides with the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa in December. Any PGA Tour member who wishes to defect to LIV will face the risk of disciplinary action from the governing body if they participate in the qualifying event.

A Done Deal
