The pair have already locked horns in the Made in Denmark tournament where he finished just one stroke behind the Austrian golfer. From here MacIntyre put in a credible performance by finishing joint-sixth in his first ever Open Championship appearance. All of which set him up for becoming the leading Scot in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Eric Van Rooyen
This South African golfer could be a good outside bet for the Race to Dubai. 2019 has seen Van Rooyen picking up his first European Tour win with an exceptional performance at the Scandinavian Invitation.
This followed up strong results in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters and the Hassan II Golf Trophy. With a top-10 finish in the recent PGA Championship, the 29-year old golfer will be aching to go one better in this year’s Race to Dubai. But with plenty of other strong challengers in the field, it’s going to be tough to see who will win this thrilling golf contest.
