Two of Hertfordshire’s top clubs have been selected to host qualifying events for the AIG Women’s British Open.
Sandy Lodge Golf Club in Northwood (pictured) has been chosen to host a pre-qualifying competition on July 15, while Ashridge Golf Club in Berkhamsted will stage final Final Qualifying on July 29.
The AIG Women’s British Open itself is taking place on the Marquess Course at Woburn from August 1-4, where England’s Georgia Hall will be the defending champion.
Ashridge has been a venue for Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship on six occasions, and will also stage the R&A Women’s Senior Amateur Championship in September 2020. Sandy Lodge’s par-69 course has also hosted Open Qualifying three times.
