Cobra Puma Golf has formed a partnership with Claude Harmon III, one of the most highly-rated golf instructors in the world.
As part of the link up, Harmon will represent Cobra and Puma as an ambassador, wearing the brands’ apparel, footwear and accessories for all of his appearances, along with a full bag of Cobra equipment.
Harmon, who is currently ranked 22nd on Golf Digest’s 50 Best Teachers in America and a Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor, has been the director of instruction at the Butch Harmon School of Golf at the Floridian International Resort in America since 2011. Prior to that, he worked and coached around the world in over 20 countries and on five continents.
Steeped in tradition, both his grandfather, 1948 Masters champion Claude Harmon, and father, Claude ‘Butch’ Harmon Jr, have been among the leading teachers of their generation, and provides the perfect foundation for Claude III to build his knowledge of golf instruction. His list of current and former students includes Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Trevor Immelman, Graeme McDowell and Yani Tseng. He is also a regular analyst and commentator for Sky Sports Golf.
“I’m excited to partner with Cobra Puma Golf,” said Harmon. “They are continuously introducing innovation, style and personalisation to the industry, and I look forward to helping share their message of game enjoyment to even more golfers around the world.”
Bob Philion, president of Cobra Puma Golf, said: “Claude is such a great addition to our Cobra Puma Golf family. His influence on the game and dedication to golf instruction aligns perfectly with our mantra of game enjoyment, innovation and helping golfers of all level play at their best and have fun while doing it.”
