Sandy Lodge Golf Club’s 12 year old Chiara Noja has rounded of a remarkable golfing season by being selected for the England Golf Thames Valley Region U16 Squad 2018/2019.
Chiara achieved spectacular success this year, reaching the final of the Hertfordshire county championship and only losing by the narrowest of margins. She topped that by winning the under 12 division of the Loretto Scottish Girls Open Championship with a 36 hole score of only four over par.
Sandy Lodge general manager, David Griffin said: “Chiara deserves every bit of her success. Over the summer holidays we have seen her putting in so much time and effort on our extensive practice facilities. She is a great example of the rewards that come from applying hard work to an amazing talent.”
