BMW PGA Championship moves back a week as European Tour rejigs schedule
The European Tour has announced new dates for the BMW PGA Championship and the Scottish Open, which will be played in consecutive weeks at the start of October.
Both tournaments have been moved forward one week on the European Tour’s schedule, with the Scottish Open now taking place at The Renaissance Club from October 1-4 and the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth moving to October 8-11.
They now follow the Irish Open at Galgorm Castle Golf Club in Northern Ireland, which takes place from September 24-27, establishing the second UK Swing of the year on the European Tour following the current six-event run, which reaches its conclusion at The Belfry next week.
