TaylorMade extends club contract with Scottie Scheffler

As Scottie Scheffler begins his 2024 PGA Tour campaign this week at The Sentry in Hawaii, TaylorMade Golf has announced that it has signed a multi-year extension to the world no.1’s staff player equipment contract.

In two full seasons with TaylorMade, Scheffler has produced seven worldwide wins, including victories at The Masters and THE PLAYERS, all with TaylorMade Golf equipment. In that time Scheffler vaulted himself to the No.1 ranking in the world ranking, six PGA TOUR wins in a historic 392-day span and back-to-back PGA TOUR Player of the Year Honors.

“My relationship with TaylorMade goes well beyond just the equipment, said Scheffler. ”I’ve been able to build trustworthy connections with their team knowing that they are always doing what is best for me to accomplish my goals of winning on the PGA TOUR. TaylorMade equipment has always been the industry standard in my eyes and I couldn’t be happier to continue this great partnership.”

Scottie Scheffler has won seven times since joining TaylorMade as a staff player in March 2022

Scheffler began playing TaylorMade irons in 2020, before joining TaylorMade in the beginning of 2022 where he reeled off four wins in less than three months with TaylorMade driver, fairway wood and irons in the bag.

In 2023, Scheffler successfully defended his title at the Waste Management Open, won THE PLAYERS and the Hero World Challenge en route to defending his Player of the Year honours.

David Abeles, TaylorMade Golf CEO and President, said: “Scottie has ascended to the top of golf’s world rankings with an uncompromising commitment to hard work, continuous improvement in every facet of his game, a champion’s mindset, and an expectation to meet the highest standard for his golf equipment. Combined with Scottie’s humility and grace, these attributes are consistent with the core values of TaylorMade and we couldn’t be more excited about his decision remain part of our team for the long term.”

Scheffler is currently going through the testing process for his 2024 equipment set up, but is expected to play TaylorMade’s new Qi10 driver and 3-wood, along with the brand’s P·7TW irons (5-PW).
