PGA TOUR unveils 2025 tournament schedule

The PGA TOUR has announced its full line up of tournaments for 2025, a 36-event regular season schedule that features The Players Championship in March, the four major championships, eight Signature Events, 18 Full-Field Events and five Additional Events.

Next year’s regular season schedule begins with The Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii on December 30, and concludes with the Wyndham Championship on August 3.

The three-event FedExCup Playoffs follow during August, with the FedExCup champion crowned once again at the end of the TOUR Championship on August 24.

The season includes events contested across 18 US states, as well as Mexico, Canada, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

The dates for the 2025 FedExCup Fall Series, which will finalise eligibility for the 2026 season, is being announced at a later date.

“The new schedule and competitive changes introduced in 2024 were significant steps toward creating the best version of the PGA TOUR for our fans and players,” said PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan. “Fields were significantly stronger across the board, while the Signature Events provided fans more opportunities to see the PGA TOUR’s best competing head-to-head.”

In addition the Masters at Augusta (April 10-13), next year’s major calendar sees the PGA Championship return to Quail Hollow in North Carolina (May 15-18), the US Open head to Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania (June 12-15), while the Open Championship heads back to Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland (July 17-20), scene of Shane Lowry’s emotional triumph in 2019.
