Golfers looking to enjoy a round on one the UK’s finest heathland layouts – and a former Ryder Cup venue – are being invited to take part in a golf day being held at Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey on August 13.
With many high-end clubs only allowing members to play during the recent reopening of golf courses, this represents a superb opportunity to play the acclaimed Old Course, which was designed by Herbert Fowler and hosted the 1981 Ryder Cup, and, more recently, the 2018 British Masters won by Eddie Pepperell.
This one-off experience includes breakfast on arrival, a complimentary range token, 18 holes on the Old Course (with tee times from 9.30am), a post-match BBQ on the terrace, and a Walton Heath branded gift. Guests will also be offered preferential green fee rates to play the New Course in the afternoon should they wish to do so.
The package, which should be booked in four balls, costs just £185pp, and can be booked by calling Jemma Overing on 01737 817632 or by emailing [email protected].
