How many golf balls does it take to recreate Jordan Spieth? Well, the answer is 24,152.
That’s the number of balls that were used to create the likeness of the dual major-winning 22 year old that appeared in a square in downtown Dallas last week.
The image, which was commissioned by one of Spieth’s sponsor’s, AT&T, which is based in Dallas, shows the Texan-born world No.1 wearing a cap and appearing to watch another nailed approach shot find its mark.
The balls were all placed on tees by a group of 25 people. The artwork was taken down just a few days later by a man driving a ball collecting cart – naturally.
