The Augusta National course will be in tip top condition once again

SHORTEST ODDS FOR THE WINNER OF THIS YEAR’S MASTERS

With the Masters just around the corner today we are going to take a look at who is currently favorite to lift what is arguably the most creatively designed trophy in sports. Last year saw Hideki Matsuyama win the tournament after playing some stunning golf, but who will we see lead the board as we go into the final day on April 10. You can check out some great odds on this page, and here are the current favorites just a month out from the tournament.

JON RAHM +850

There is no doubt at all that with the golf he is playing, Jon Rahm is the favorite to lift just about any golf trophy at the moment. Currently the best player in the world, Rahm has four top 10 finishes at Augusta and there is nothing to indicate that he won’t take things a step further this year. This man is simply incredible, finishing 5th in last year’s competition after little preparation as his wife gave birth. Rahm is easily the odds-on favorite.

COLLIN MORIKAWA +1000

Morikawa’s odds have really shortened up recently coming in from +2200 to become second favorite. This is a golfer who knows just what it takes to win a major, having been victorious in 2 of his last 8. If anyone is going to challenge Rahm, it looks very much like Morikawa is that man.

DUSTIN JOHNSON +1200

Back in 2020 Johnson absolutely stamped his authority on this competition and easily won the trophy after playing some exceptional golf. Whilst he may have missed the cut last year, it is clearly something he will be looking to put right in 2022 and his recent form has pushed him up the board to third favorite to do just that.

JORDAN SPIETH +1200

Some players just love Augusta and that is exactly why Spieth is tied at third favorite to win this year’s competition. We have seen an out of form Spieth deliver some incredible displays on this course and he is another golfer who knows what it takes to deliver a major winning performance.

JUSTIN THOMAS +1400

Despite the fact that Thomas never really steps up at Augusta, his best finish so far was 4th in 2020, he has been in scintillating form over the last 12 months. A new approach has seen his iron game improve dramatically and he is a tasty outsider to lift the trophy.

RORY MCLLROY  +1400

The Masters is the final piece of the puzzle which Rory needs to complete a career Grand Slam, and this could certainly be the year that he pushes on to deliver it. Last year he missed the cut, but it is something which he will be looking to put right in this year’s tournament. Mcllroy has been playing very well on the Tour this year, and if he can take that form into this major, he stands a great chance of finally completing the Slam.

Which would be your top pick for the Masters this year?
