LIV Golf announces star-studded après-golf musical line up

Live sets from some of the world’s best known singers and DJs are to form part of the after-golf entertainment on offer at the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational London, which takes place at Centurion Club from June 9-11.

James Bay, Melanie C, Jessie J, Craig David, James Morrison and John Newman have all been named in the line up to entertain fans after the golfing action has finished at the Hertfordshire venue.

Thursday, June 9

Craig David will perform after the golfing action has finished on Friday night

James Morrison (8pm) An English singer, songwriter and guitarist, James Morrison’s debut single, You Give Me Something, became a worldwide hit in 2006. His debut album, Undiscover (2006), debuted at the top of the UK album chart. In 2007, Morrison won the Brit Award for Best British Male Artist.

James Bay (9.15pm) Former Brit winner James Bay is a singular modern talent; a classic singer-songwriter and an incredible guitar player. A true soul singer, his music is intensely personal and has won him large audiences worldwide.

Friday, June 10

John Newman (8pm)  UK-born soul artist John Newman had his Otis Redding-inspired tone brought to the fore on the two 2012 singles that effectively introduced the London drum’n’bass act Rudimental to the mainstream. Released in 2012, Feel the Love reached the number one spot in the UK. In 2015, Newman went to the top of the UK pop chart as the featured vocalist on Calvin Harris’ track ‘Blame‘.

Craig David (9.15pm) Craig David is one of Britain’s most successful male solo artists, with 23 UK top 40 singles, including two No.1s (Fill Me In and 7 Days), and a pair of No.1 albums. His trophy cabinet includes three Ivor Novello Awards and a brace of MTV Europe Music Awards.

Saturday, June 11

Jessie J (9.15pm): English singer and songwriter Jessie J combines deep, soulful vocals, a sharp pop sense, and a down-to-earth manner that recalls Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, and P!nk. She issued a trio of UK. top five albums – Who You Are, Alive, and Sweet Talker - in the early 2010s, while also recording chart-topping singles Price Tag, Domino, Bang Bang, and her cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water.

General admission tickets, which grant entry to the concerts, are priced at £67 per day, and are available at tickets.livgolf.com.
