Charitable trust and local leisure provider, Mytime Active, has installed state-of-the art Toptracer golf driving bays at its Hatchford Brook Leisure Centre. The leisure centre now boasts 24 Toptracer bays, to help customers get the most out of their golf practice sessions.
Toptracer uses advanced golf ball tracking technology to allow players to accurately track and analyse every shot – just as professional players do.
WHAT IS TOPTRACER
The Toptracer bays at Hatchford Brook are fitted with a touch screen monitor, which captures all shots that are hit on the driving range and provides players with accurate and instant tracking statistics.
There is also a training mode, which allows players to hone their skills with targets on the range, providing data on distance, flight direction, ball speed, launch angle, height, side deviation and landing angle, as well as distance to the target.
“Our new Toptracer ranges at Hatchford Brook are going to help members hone their game and encourage more people new to the sport to give golf a try, as people of all abilities can enjoy it,” says Gareth Jones, Mytime Active’s Midlands Area Manager.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
“Toptracer Range technology also enables players of any skill level to compete against each other in fun skills games; it’s a little like the 10-pin bowling version of golf! In addition, Toptracer introduces virtual golf to the range experience – players now have the opportunity to compete on world renowned golf courses from the comfort of the driving range bay.
Toptracer bays will help to ensure all Hatchford Brook customers get the chance to perfect their game, whilst having fun.”
All sessions can be booked on a pay-as-you-go basis and are open to members, as well as non-members.
It’s free to register and after registration, players receive a discount on all range balls – from £6 for 50 balls, £10 for 100.
Mytime Active will be running Toptracer competitions throughout the year with prizes including a sleeve of Prov 1’s and a 50% off range balls voucher.
