Chipstead members Peter Griggs and James Selby made history at the Club on Wednesday 19th July by becoming the first ever members to have made a hole in one on the same day and at the same hole.
Peter and James were taking part in the Club’s Mid-Week Stableford event and both aced the 131 yard 3rd hole.
This was Peter’s first ever hole in one but for James it was his 3rd and his second in three months.
A solid iron done the job for Peter in the morning then James made it a double celebration in the evening with another one of his famous soft 9 irons, this was the same club that James used to hole out on the 13th hole at the Carya Golf Club in Belek back in May.
