The world’s No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid Tour X-flex shaft in his utility iron enroute to defending his title at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, his ninth victory in 2024.
The 28-year-old Texan shot 25-under par 263 with rounds of 67-64-69-63 at the Albany Golf Club in Nassau, making only two bogeys in 72 holes and winning by six. He took home a winner’s check worth $1 million playing in the limited 20-man field.
“Nippon Shaft congratulates the world’s No. 1 player on winning his ninth tournament this year,” said Hiro Fukuda, sales and marketing for Nippon Shaft. “We are proud that he relied our N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid Tour X-flex shaft in his utility iron because it gave him the best chance to win.
