TaylorMade launches new Mini Driver

TaylorMade is to launch of the all-new 300 Mini Driver later this month, which puts a new spin on the 300 Series of clubs that the company first introduced in 2000.
Designed to be used off the tee and from the fairway, the 307cc head of the 300 Mini Driver promises a blend of distance, forgiveness and control, relying on advanced multi-material construction to provide the optimal combination of low centre of gravity performance and high MOI forgiveness.
Off the tee, the 300 Mini Driver delivers high launch with low spin thanks to its low centre of gravity and mass that is distributed across the sole from front to back. It also boasts a high-strength titanium face and Thru-Slot Speed Pocket to deliver ball speed.
The corrective performance of Twist Face adds another level of playability, while a reinvented V-Steel soleplate adds to the low CG properties and promotes improved turf interaction and versatility when played off the deck.
A prototype model of the club appeared on Tour last month during the US Open and some TaylorMade players, including Dustin Johnson, are currently testing the design for potential play at this month’s Open Championship at Royal St George’s.
The 300 Mini Driver goes on sale from July 15. It has an RRP of £369 and will be offered in lofts of 11.5° and 13.5°. Mitsubishi MiDr Proto is the stock shaft fitted with Golf Pride’s Z-Grip (47g).For more details, visit www.taylormadegolf.eu.
